A Short History

St. Thomas’ School is an English Medium Co-educational Minority institution; which provides a strong educational foundation designed to fit its students for the world of tomorrow.

The school is founded and administrated by The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Agra, is a private, unaided, catholic minority institution under the 30 (1) of Indian constitution . The Purpose of the school was to provide wholesome facilities to the students which will enable them to grown in holistic manner. The school unit was inaugurated in April,2014 by most Rev. Dr. Albert D’ Souza, the Archbishop and Chairman of the school. It will be upgraded to Senior Secondary School and be affiliated to Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), New Delhi, in appropriate time.

Time School is established with a purpose of propose of providing quality education focusing intellectual, physical, emotion and social development. Its location in the outskirt of Agra city in Shastripuram is perfect for giving free environment to children. The extension of the school has taken place in the year 2020 and a new spacious school campus is come up at Sunari Village. The impressive upcoming school building at the new campus will be surrounded by lush green lawns and foliage, and has good and wide roads.

“If a plant is carefully nurtured by a gardener, it will become good and produce better fruit. Therefore, children must be given good training from their earliest childhood.”

We try to create an atmosphere of reverence for education and a healthy environment where academics, sports and co-curricular facilities mould our students and motivate them to be the brightest and the best. In order to do this, the school works towards including certain values in the students like truthfulness, courtesy, generosity, compassion, justice, love and trustworthiness in them. The students are taught to study in an atmosphere of love and unity where each student sees himself or herself as a member of one global family, free from prejudices of ethnicities, nationalities, class and religious dogmas.

Affiliation

The school is recognized by the state administration presently for providing education to the students in the elementary level. The school will get affiliated to any one Central education board based in New Delhi under whose edges the board exams will be conducted. (As per the regulations of the New Education policy 2020)
